Doing Advertising Differently

September marks our first round of advertising packages purchased by two businesses whose products we have tested and come to trust: GRAYL and Bluff Works. GRAYL, with its uber-efficient filtered water bottles, has been working diligently to provide reliable bottles that travelers can take anywhere and not worry about drinking harmful bacteria, parasites, poisons, or other aquatic trouble-makers. Bluff Works supplies men’s pants that dry quickly, don’t wrinkle and are odor and stain resistant. Our Creative Director has been wearing these pants everywhere he goes for days at a time and he is always looking sharp and smelling good.

Following our ethics code and advertising policy, we personally tested the products from these two genuine companies before we asked them to purchase advertising space on our website. We sincerely believe these products make traveling easier and perhaps even more enjoyable.

With Immersion picking up speed and gaining more readers every day, advertising is our next step to gaining financial strength and publishing more issues more often. But we won’t create lasting partnerships with just any company or organization; we are dedicated to promoting practices in sustainability and our advertising partners must share the same mindset.

No one likes to be misled, that’s why authenticity and transparency in advertising is very important to us. If there is one thing readers can rely on with Immersion Travel Magazine and its advertisers, it’s that each product was personally tested many times and was approved by members of our team before it found a home on our pages. Our advertisers undergo as much research and investigation as our featured destinations. Companies that advertise with us are environmentally conscious, socially just, ethically and morally sound in their business transactions, and are sensitive to the conservation of local cultures.
